This cuvee is light for a Lalande but deliberately so. Young Merlot vines are allowed less skin contact, resulting in a fine, fruity red with real pedigree and flair.
Lalande de Pomerol sits somewhere between Pomerol and Saint-Emilion within the Bordeaux Appellation, and is in reality a small village making fine reds that don't break the bank. This cracking estate is one of the largest and best, and is consistently good from one vintage to the next.
