Description
Ideally located to the north-west of the Saint-Julien appellation, Château Moulin Riche is made up of 20 hectares of vines in one piece. With an atypical grape variety for the region due to its high proportion of Petit Verdot (23%), the Château remains faithful to the appellation as evidenced by its dominant Cabernet Sauvignon (48%) and Merlot (29%) . This alchemy of grape varieties has its origins in the generosity of complementary soils. To the freshness of the black soils, making the happiness of early grape varieties such as Merlot, is added the warmth of the black gravel in which Cabernet Sauvignon and especially Petit Verdot reveal their potential. From this union are born wines of pure indulgence, which nevertheless reflect the elegant and structured style of the appellation
