This Corton displays an intense ruby colour and has a broad bouquet of fruit accents (blueberry, redcurrant and cherry) moving towards pepper, leather and liquorice with age. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, with great sustain and body. It is firm, frank and fleshy.
Strong, washed-rind and blue cheeses will be able to tame its complex structure. Strong meat such as roast or grilled beef joints and all roast or braised game or, of course, with a sauce, will also be delectable partners for this exceptional wine.
Serve at a temperature of 14 to 16° C. This wonderful wine needs time to develop, between 4 and 12 years.
