Hafner Neusiedlersee DAC Reserve

The NEUSIEDLERSEE DAC is made from the main red grape in the area of „Lake Neusiedl” east of Vienna:

the ZWEIGELT grape, which is produced as a classic wine, aged 16 moths in barrique barrels,

All wines in the new DAC category must be tasted by a jury of experts to confirm the quality criteria,

Ruby color, full-bodied, fine nose of roasted aromas, dried plums on the palate. Very well balanced, in keeping with the designation "Reserve", with the use of wood and at least 12 months of barrel aging! (this wine was stored for 16 months in French oak barrels)

The Area of Lake Neusiedl in aunny Burgenland has more then 300 sunny days per year - the ideal climate for growing full-bodied, fruity red wines.
