The Yarden Rom features ripe black cherry and plum fruit characters, layered with attractive notes of earth, smoke, orange rind, fresh herb, chocolate, coffee and spice. This complex, flavorful yet elegant blended wine displays a full body and a lingering finish.
Though extremely enjoyable upon release, Yarden Rom will continue to improve in the bottle over the next few years, and will remain in outstanding drinking condition for a decade or more from vintage. We love serving the wine at a festive meal paired with richly flavored meat dishes such as herb-crusted roast leg of lamb, braised beef short ribs, or perfectly grilled rib eye steaks.
