A Historic Kosher Wine

Kosher rose wine has come in and out of fashion time and again. Many think it is a very modern wine, yet it is actually one of the oldest varieties of wine, since it uses one of the most original, traditional production methods; the skin contact method. It is thought that the earliest red wines would have been similar in appearance to what we now think of as rose wine today.

There are several ways to produce these pretty, pleasing wines and this is why they are known for their huge range of flavour. The skin contact method, the saignée method and the blending methods all produce wonderful kosher rose wines.

Even some experienced wine connoisseurs mistakenly believe that, generally, rose wines err on the sweeter side when, in fact, there is a huge breadth of flavour in kosher rose wines from ultra-dry, to very sweet and everything in between.
