Heidsieck & Co Monopole is a champagne house founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck and located in Épernay. The company is owned by Vranken, which also owns Pommery and Demoiselle. Despite its home base being Epernay, Heidsieck remains a typical Pinot Noir house in terms of style. The blue grape predominates in the blends of Heidsieck & Co Monopole champagnes. The Blue Top illustrates this perfectly with 70% pinot noir in the blend. Good, tight and lively, beautifully fruity and minerally fresh in the aftertaste.
