On the palate, the wine is complex, rich and powerful with a beautiful predominance of pink grapefruit. Long, aromatic and fresh finish. Aromas of English anise candies, small fennel and «berlingots de Carpentras». Located in the heart of the Var in Provence, between Lorgues and Draguignan, Château Roubine is one of the oldest vineyards in France. Its strategic location and its beauty are worth a detour. Chateau Roubine offers the great diversity of thirteen grape varieties, the natural drainage (roubine = stream in Provençal), the ideal orientation and the clay-limestone soil conditions, the best conditions for the production of high-quality wines. Today, led by Valérie Rousselle, it covers 130 ha, of which 72 ha are vineyards, and stands out for an optimal combination of technology and the correct application of the rules of sustainable agriculture.
