Description
Micro-cuvée established in 1992 as a second wine, grown and vinified with the same
care, Virginie de Valandraud has since conquered his « pedigree » to become in 1997 a
full wine resulting from vineyards going beyond those of Valandraud.
The Virginie de Valandraud 2015 has an intense, quite powerful bouquet with red
cherries intermingling with blueberry and candied orange peel. The palate is mediumbodied
with supple tannins, a « juicy » Virginie, oak feels nicely integrated and does not
obscure its personality in the silky, sensual finish.
